Uzmanından

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

Uzmanından is a closed network for licensed real estate agents in Turkey. This describes what we process, why, and for how long, under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, no. 6698). Data controller: Yigitcan Kutay Guler, me@ykg.im. The Turkish text governs.

What we collect

Account. Name, email address, phone number, licence number, agency, working districts, and an optional short bio.

Licence certificate image. Uploaded once at signup. Only an operator can read it — there is no route in the app by which any agent, including you, can read a certificate back.

Tax identity. Your Turkish ID number (or foreigner ID number), or the tax identification number issued to you or your agency. You do not type it: the operator reads it from your licence certificate at approval and records it. Like the certificate, no one — you included — can read it back through the app.

Listings and briefs. Property details, price, location, photographs and an optional walkthrough video.

Messages between agents, and a record of your activity in the network: match answers, sales, client-link opens.

Your clients' data

Your client never enters this app and has no account here. Writing a client's name, phone number or address into a brief is forbidden; a pseudonym is used instead.

That pseudonym and your private note are never visible to any other agent — only to you.

We collect no personal data from a person who opens a client link. We count how many times it was opened, nothing else.

Legal basis

Your account, listings, briefs, messages and network activity are processed because they are necessary to form and perform the membership contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c).

Your tax identity and the information about the listings you publish are processed to meet the monthly reporting duty that Tax Procedure Law General Communiqué No. 538, as amended by Communiqué No. 595 of 5 September 2026 places on hosting providers, and are reported to the Turkish Revenue Administration (KVKK art. 5/2-ç). No consent is asked for this; the duty comes from the law.

Retention

The certificate image is deleted automatically 12 months after upload. What remains is the licence number, the operator's decision, who made it and when. The image itself does not remain.

Listings and briefs leave the network after 60 days. The row is kept, because matches, messages and history point at it.

The tax identity and the listing information reported to the Revenue Administration are kept for five years from the start of the calendar year following the report, as the Tax Procedure Law requires. That period runs even if you delete your account; the record is not shown on the network and is produced only on a lawful request.

Messages cannot be edited or deleted. A commission split put in writing must not be changeable afterwards — that is part of how the network works.

Deleting your account deletes your personal data, except what falls under the five-year statutory retention above. Records the other party is also part of — messages, introduction records — are anonymised rather than removed, because they are that agent's own history.

Who we share with

We do not sell your data and we give it to nobody for advertising.

The Turkish Revenue Administration (Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı). Under Tax Procedure Law General Communiqué No. 538, as amended by Communiqué No. 595 of 5 September 2026, as a hosting provider enabling the publication of listings we report every month: the internet addresses of the service, each agent's name/title and Turkish ID or tax identification number, and the information about the sale and rental listings published. This is a statutory obligation, not a choice.

Providers used to run the service: Supabase (database and authentication, United Kingdom — London region), Cloudflare (photograph and document storage), and Apple for the subscription. Payment details stay with Apple; no card data reaches us.

Cookies

The app uses no cookies.

The client-link web page sets a single session cookie whose only job is to stop a page refresh counting as a second view. It does not track anyone.

Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly, learn the third parties it is transferred to in Türkiye or abroad, ask for correction or deletion, ask that those steps be passed on to recipients, object to a result produced solely by automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

A deletion request for the tax identity and the listing information reported to the Revenue Administration cannot be met before the statutory retention period ends; we will tell you in writing why.

Write to me@ykg.im. We answer within 30 days.
